Knowledge Ecology International (KEI) cordially invites you to attend our side event during negotiations of the 39th Session of the Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights (SCCR) of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). This side event will examine the implications of the proposed WIPO broadcasting treaty on new streaming services. The side event will examine how the WIPO broadcasting treaty may affect the ownership, concentration of ownership, and nationality of ownership, of the new streaming services that are rapidly replacing traditional broadcasting in many markets.
A light lunch will be served prior to the event just outside Room B.
